Terms and conditions for the Advent competition on Instagram

1. Organizer

The organizer of the contest is
Snekkerbuks, Transvaalkade 73, 1092 JS Amsterdam.

The contest is not affiliated with Instagram and is not sponsored, endorsed, or organized by Instagram.

2. Participation period

The contest will take place on all four Advent weekends.

  • Each round of the competition begins on Sunday (0:00 a.m.).

  • and ends at 11:59 p.m. on the following Saturday.

The prize draw will take place on each Sunday during Advent.

3. Requirements for participation

All natural persons aged 18 or over who are resident in an EU country are eligible to participate.

Participation is exclusively via Instagram by:

  1. Follow the account @snekkerbuks

  2. Liking the contest post

  3. Comment with your favorite color and tag at least one other person

Bonus opportunity:
Sharing the post in your own Instagram story and tagging @snekkerbuks increases your chances of winning (optional, not required).

Participation is free of charge.

4. Profit

Every Sunday during Advent, a handmade leather punching bag will be given away. Snekkerbuks will select the color and size of the punching bag. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

5. Determination of winners and notification

The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries.

  • The announcement will be made on Advent Sunday in the comments section of the competition post.

  • In addition, the winner will be contacted via Instagram Direct Message (DM).

If the winner does not respond within 7 days, a new winner will be drawn.

6. Exclusion from participation

The following are excluded:

  • Persons under the age of 18

  • Persons not resident in the EU

  • Accounts that are obviously fake or contest accounts

  • Multiple entries via multiple profiles

We reserve the right to exclude participants in the event of attempts at manipulation.

7. Data protection

Only publicly visible Instagram profile information and the winner's contact details will be collected for participation and used exclusively for the purpose of conducting the competition.

8. Disclaimer

Snekkerbuks is not liable for technical malfunctions, transmission errors, or failures of Instagram.

9. Final provisions

By participating in the competition, participants accept these terms and conditions.

Legal recourse is excluded.
