Extremely lightweight backpack that's very comfortable to carry
A good children's backpack is one of the most important items in your child's daily life—whether at forest kindergarten, daycare, on outings, or while traveling.
Thanks to the breathable leather back panel, the soft, felt-padded straps, and its light weight of just 400 g, the backpack sits comfortably and lightly on the shoulders even on longer walks—even for toddlers.
There is a name tag inside the backpack for your name and address.
The backpack is waterproof!
It can be closed with a drawstring or a buckle. Thanks to the backpack flap and the water-repellent leather, everything inside stays nice and dry even in heavy rain.
Extra compartment inside
On the inside back panel, there is a flat compartment for money, tickets, and other small treasures.
What age group is this children's backpack suitable for?
Our backpack is suitable even for toddlers and is ideal as a preschool or daycare backpack for children ages 3–6. For school-age children, it’s perfect as a small hiking backpack for school field trips and travel.

We craft all our backpacks by hand using traditional methods with precision in our " Snekkerbuks" workshop in Amsterdam. The high-quality craftsmanship makes the backpack extremely durable and long-lasting.
Sustainable, non-toxic materials
100% high-quality, durable cowhide leather from sustainable sources. We use only leather from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG) under the Gold Standard—the most important sustainability standard for leather production.
The waterproofing treatment and a light wax finish make the backpack water-repellent and especially durable.
The backpack flap and drawstring are made of 100% cotton tent fabric produced in the Netherlands.

Free Repairs
Our children's backpacks are designed to be very durable and sturdy and can be passed down through many generations of children. If something does happen to break, we offer a free repair service! Send your backpack to our workshop, and we'll repair it if possible.
