The design is based on the historic Roman sandals "Carbatinae". Our leather sandals are traditionally handcrafted from soft, breathable, water-repellent cowhide in our Snekkerbuks atelier in Amsterdam. All pieces are unique.
Growing shoes
The soft leather of the sandals adapts to the shape of the foot and even grows with it! The width of the sandals can be adjusted exactly to the shape of the foot using the elastic band. The knot in the elastic band can be adjusted to adapt the shoe length.
Sizes
To determine the correct size, please measure your child's feet and order according to the size chart below. It is not necessary to add a growth allowance to the foot lengths as the shoes are very flexible, even in length.

Sustainable leather
100% high-quality cowhide from responsible production. We only use leather from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Groep (LWG) with the Gold Standard, the most important sustainability standard for leather production. The leather is left in its natural state and the special surface characteristics of the leather, such as grain and subtle color differences, remain visible. The impregnation and a light wax finish make the shoes water-repellent and very hard-wearing. The shoes are suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
